£32,000
Finely painted with an unusual scene of a high ranking mandarin family wearing winter clothes, including the matriarch of the family carrying a small boy on her back, attended by two younger children, all enjoying an al fresco tea party beneath pine trees within a rocky garden landscape, the interior painted with a spray of fruit, all within gilt spear head borders.

This bowl can be compared to another finely painted 'famille-rose' punch bowl, formerly in the collection of Sir Alfred Lane Beit (1903 - 1994) sold at Sotheby's London 6th November 2013, lot 88
