Gouache on ivory, original carved Chinese gilt frame, attributed to Nam Ting, applied paper label to reverse of frame.

Nam Ching is listed in the Chronicle & Directory at 26 Queens Road (1868 - 1871) and at 84 Queens Road (1875 - 1878). The studio continued until the 1890's. Nam Ching is possibly the same studio as Nam Ting at 60 Queens Road, shown next to William Floyd's studio in a photograph by Floyd of circa 1868.
