A LARGE JAPANESE BLUE AND WHITE 'KRAAK' STYLE PORCELAIN CHARGER, ARITA, EDO PERIOD
Painted in imitation of Chinese blue and white porcelain, with a central vase of flowers containing peony, a hand scroll and peaches, flanked by a pair of flying geese, within a petal-shaped border, the rim divided into further petal shape panels containing flowers and precious objects, five spur marks to the underside.
