A stained and polychrome ivory carving of a lady, Rajasthan, late 18th/early 19th century

The beautiful young woman modelled standing wearing a traditional long flowing skirt and short tunic exposing her navel, the Lehenga Choli, her hair neatly tied, wearing a tiara and bedecked in jewels around her neck, wrists and ears, her right hand raised, the details picked out in gilding.
